THE NCC

(National Cadet Corps)

ex1Under graduate Students are eligible to join to NCC if they want. The students who joined in NCC should get training for two years continuously.

Aims of NCC

  • To produce good behavior, friendship, service Service attitude, leadership quality among the students.
  • Giving training to the students to feel as an officer and also to teach about our country’s protection.
  • To Prepare a good behavior team of human resource.

Uses

  • The students who trained by NCC will be given first preference in Admissions of Government & Private Colleges.
  • They can easily join to the Indian army if they have certificates of NCC.

Conditions for joining to NCC

  • This scheme is depending in education. Students should not be physically challenged. If anyone interested to join then who can join.
  • It is not compulsory to join.
  • Joined students should promise that they will obey to the rules and regulations of NCC.
  • Students should submit the filled application with their parents or guardian’s signature to permit them for joining in NCC.

Training  

During the NCC course, each and every week all the NCC corps must do NCC parade for 4 hours of two times.

Each student should participate in any one of the following camps.

  • Year camp.
  • Social service camp.
  • Other camps.

Exams & Certificates

Trainings will be given to the students to get ‘B’ & ‘C’ certificates. At the end of the two years students are eligible to get ‘c’ certificates of NCC.

Pay and allowances

  1. There is no payments for the NCC corps.
  2. Students who participate in camps will be given food, travel allowance, Daily allowance.
  3. During the parade free breakfast will be given to the corps.

Uniforms & weapons

At the time of parade or camp session students must near uniforms.  If they lost their uniforms and weapons , they have to pay money for those things as penalty.

THE NSS

Under graduate Students are eligible to join to NSS if they want. The students who joined in NSS should do social service.

THE RRC

ex3(Red Ribbon Club)

Under graduate Students are eligible to join to RRC if they want.

Computer Literacy Programme

The CLP course has been exclusively designed and run with updated systems orienting towards providing the required knowledge to the students and for their enlistments in computer literacy. This course is conducted for students from all disciplines except computer science department.

Computer Literacy Programme(CLP) had commenced in the academic year 2000-01.The separate Lab is maintained for CLP with all necessary equipments. Guest Faculty handle the classes which comprise of both theory and practicals.
The students are trained on the basic knowledge of Ms-Office, Internet technologies, basics of C language and HTML. A common examination (theory) is conducted for the CLP students throughout Tamilnadu, at the end of the course. Based on their performance, a Certificate is issued from the Government of Tamilnadu which is of great potential to them during their placement opportunities.

THE YRC – Youth Red Cross

திருவண்ணாமலை அரசு கலைக்கல்லூரியில் 22-09-2015 அன்று இளைஞர் செஞ்சிலுவைசங்கத்தின் சார்பில்  மாணவர்களுக்கான சுகாதாரம் மற்றும் உளவியல் கருத்தரங்கம்  பாவேந்தர் அரங்கில் நடைபெற்றது.

YRC சங்க பொறுப்பாளர் Dr. க.சாந்தி வரவேற்பு வழங்கினார்.
கல்லூரி முதல்வர் வ. மணிவண்ணன் அவர்கள் தலைமை உரையாற்றினார்.
தாவரவியல் துறைத்தலைவர் பேரா. கோ. பாண்டியன் முன்னிலை வகித்தார்.

ஆகிய மூவரும் சிறப்புரையாற்றினார். திருவள்ளுவர் பல்கலைக்கழக பொருளியல் துறை பேராசிரியர் முனைவர் C.தண்டபானி அவர்கள் மற்றும் பேரா க.ஜெயசங்ர் முனைவர் K.R.ஸ்தன்ஸ்லாஸ் ஆகியோர்  வாழ்த்துரை வழங்கினார். NSS ஒருங்கிணைப்பாளர் பேரா.K.R.அறிவுச்செல்வி  நன்றியுரையாற்றினார்
